Fly your missions with perfect pay equity

flywyld is focused on providing a fair and equitable experience for our members with varying missions.  With many clubs that have more than one plane, all members share in covering the fixed costs of all the planes, even if some or many of the members don’t choose to fly all of the available aircraft.  This is an inherent shortcoming of typical flying club models.

flywyld employs a model that solves this problem.  Our members pay base membership dues plus monthly dues surcharge for only the aircraft they elect to fly. Simple and equitable.

flywyld usage rates and surcharge dues fluctuate with our members’ headcount and aircraft elections. Each month, the club will seek to optimize these charges as the club grows.

How we use our money:
Initiation Fee - our capital fund
Dues - operating expenses of the club
Monthly Surcharge - the fixed expenses associated with that aircraft
Wet Rate - the operational expenses associated with that aircraft

We keep it simple and transparent. Our current rates:

Membership Rates

$700 Initiation Fee

$150 monthly Dues

Wet Rates (tach)

Grumman Cheetah: $85

Cherokee 180: $107

Monthly Surcharge

Grumman Cheetah: $89

Cherokee 180: $95

Fly more. Save more.

An important note:  Surcharge dues are based on the number of member pilots sharing the costs.  Likewise, usage fees are based on projected actual usage.  The more active members are in flying, the more the costs are shared, and therefore the lower the cost to each member.  flywyld aims to create a culture where our members unlock excess value by flying more.
